Direct To Lathe Series I: Envelopes

Paintings with hand-cut records by Alivia Zivich and Nate Young.

The records were cut by A. Zivich during a live recording by N. Young. The microphones and instruments went from the mixing board direct to the record cutter. Each record contains the moment in the composition being performed at the time of the cutting. The clear disc is attached to a 6"x7" painting, 3 per envelope. Limited to 17.
